RespinJenny® is the world’s first technology that separates textile fibres from fabric through a gentle mechanical process, reducing fibre damage and achieving lengths typically over 20 mm, enough to spin new yarn from 100% recycled fibre without virgin input.

RespinJenny recycles textile leftover fabric into JennyFiber®, a premium recycled fibre with consistent quality, strength, and uniformity. This fibre can then be spun into JennyYarn®, meeting high standards for durability and appearance, enabling seamless integration into commercial textile manufacturing without compromising performance.

Its modular, fully automated design adapts to different production environments, from local setups to large-scale industrial plants. By recycling waste directly where it is generated, RespinJenny turns what was once a disposal cost into a valuable raw material. With ReSpin’s off-take program for JennyFiber, machine owners secure both a recycling solution and a guaranteed revenue stream.

RespinJenny is scalable by design, serving sewing companies and manufacturers today and with the potential to expand into recycling stations and broader waste management infrastructures in the future.

RespinJenny – pioneering the future of recycled fibers

From Vision to Reality

RespinJenny is the result of years of research, technological development, and a deep understanding of the challenges within the textile industry. The idea was born from the realization that conventional recycling often degrades fibres to a level where they become nearly unusable for new production. At that point, chemical recycling appeared as an alternative, but it comes with its own challenges, requiring large volumes and significant amounts of chemicals, water, and energy.

With these limitations in mind, the focus turned to mechanical recycling. RespinJenny was developed to preserve fibre length and quality, a technical achievement that sets a new standard for circular textile flows. The technology is based on three integrated processes: from input, processing, and refinement to a quality level that can be spun into new threads without the addition of virgin fibre.
